A Jesus™ Nation

That's what Huckabee is fighting for. It's clear he has a vision of one nation under Jesus™. He basically says so in his own words way back in 1998:

"I didn't get into politics because I thought government had a better answer. I got into politics because I knew government didn't have the real answers, that the real answers lie in accepting Jesus Christ into our lives. . . . I hope we answer the alarm clock and take back this nation for Christ."

It looks like Huckabee is surging in the polls. So I guess all you Jews, Muslims, Wiccans, Buddhists, Hindus, Baha'is, Taoists, Druids, Native Americans, Universalists, Pagans, and atheists better start thinking about moving to a new country. If this guy gets in the whitehouse I don't think you'll be very welcomed here.

Greg, get it straight. Christians love all people or at least we try to but we are still human but, as God loves all His children we have an obligation to try and do the same. No one would have to leave this country unless they wanted to. If they are here to tear our country apart and what she stands for then they should leave. I guess you are not a true American if you do not see the value of our great country and what we all can lose if she is not protected. Maybe you should think about leaving?

Interesting that you would be a shining example of exactly what I am talking about. You say Christians love all people but your attitude is everyone like me should leave the country. Get it through your thick skull. America is a SECULAR nation. It is inclusive of all of us with different beliefs. Our founding fathers made sure of that. It is scary to think that people like Huckabee or you would try to control the thoughts and beliefs of others through intimidation. Our country is great because it gets its strength from diversity. Thanks for commenting. I encourage debate here!

I just discovered this blog, and it's fabulous! Finally someone else who can see reason. I live in the Bible Belt and it often seems like the world is full of whack jobs. Thanks for a taste of some actual sense.
