I Remember

I remember that tragic day seven years ago when America was attacked. I remember the thousands of lives lost and the countless others suffering from the cowardly killing of innocent civilians.

I also remember a president who was not ready to lead. A scared man who thought he would glide through his presidency like he floated through school with a C average. A paralyzed Bush who would rather read The Pet Goat than address the attacks on our nation and our people. So scared he sat there while people were dying trying to decide if he should get up or not. At 9:00 in the morning seven years ago, Al Gore should have been the one to answer that call.
